With the aim of strengthening the friendship and promoting cultural exchange between the younger generations of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, a special martial arts and educational event was held in Ho Chi Minh City. The program provided a valuable opportunity for students to engage with the essence of Taekwondo and receive meaningful support from international organizations.
Key Highlights of the Program
Within the framework of the program, students participated in and experienced a variety of meaningful activities, including:
Professional Taekwondo performances by the Biryong Taekwondo Demonstration Team, featuring poomsae, combat techniques, and impressive performances that showcased the spirit, strength, and artistic nature of Korean Taekwondo.
An introduction to the distinctive characteristics of Korean Taekwondo, covering its origins, martial philosophy, and its role in cultural and social life.
Taekwondo exchange activities, creating a space for connection, interaction, and mutual learning between students and the visiting delegation, thereby enhancing understanding and strengthening cultural ties between Vietnam and Korea.
Scholarship awards for students of Van Lang Sai Gon College, sponsored by the Biryong Taekwondo Team and The Asian Cultural Exchange Foundation (ACEF), recognizing and encouraging students’ academic efforts and dedication to personal development.

Students had the opportunity to directly experience Korean Taekwondo culture, gaining a deeper understanding of its historical values, martial spirit, and philosophical foundations – key elements that define Taekwondo as the national martial art of Korea.
In addition, the Vietnam–Korea cultural exchange activities helped students enhance their communication skills, broaden their international awareness, and build confidence when interacting with international delegations in a formal and professional setting.
