Van Lang Saigon College (VLSC) continues to advance its strategy of internationalizing education through the establishment of an academic partnership with Dayeh University, a prestigious higher education institution in Taiwan. This collaboration reaffirms VLSC’s commitment to broadening students’ access to advanced educational systems and multicultural learning environments. In alignment with this goal, VLSC recently hosted an exchange session introducing undergraduate and short-term study programs offered by Dayeh University. The event garnered great interest and enthusiasm, reflecting the aspiration of VLSC students to expand their global perspectives and pursue international opportunities.

Distinct Academic and Career Development Benefits for VLSC Students:
A critical highlight of this collaborative program is the provision of high-value scholarships, specifically tailored for VLSC students, encompassing the following elements:
Comprehensive Financial Subsidy: Students are granted a 100% waiver on living expenses and accommodation costs throughout their participation in the academic program in Taiwan. This provision is instrumental in facilitating students’ pursuit of high-quality educational endeavors without being constrained by financial burdens.
Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Program: Offers opportunities for paid professional internships at partner enterprises in Taiwan. This enables students to achieve financial autonomy while simultaneously accumulating profound specialized expertise and fostering the capacity for adaptation within an international professional environment.
Expanded International Academic Trajectory: Establishes a seamless mechanism for academic credit transfer and progression to degree programs at universities in Taiwan and other Asian nations, thereby broadening the scope for academic advancement and professional development.
Access to an Advanced Educational Ecosystem: Provides the privilege of experiencing an international-standard academic environment, stimulating cross-cultural exchange activities and fostering interaction with a diverse, multinational student body.
Attainment of Globally Validated Credentials: Upon successful completion of the program, students will be conferred with globally recognized degrees, significantly enhancing their competitive edge in both domestic and international labor markets.

Seminar on Strategic Direction and Vision Sharing
During the session, Mr. Nguyen Yen Tri, representative of Dayeh University, delivered an in-depth presentation on the institution’s academic strengths, innovative teaching approaches, and internationalization strategies. His insights provided Vietnamese students with a comprehensive understanding of Dayeh University’s educational model, which harmoniously blends theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby opening pathways toward career development in an international context.

Representing VLSC, Mr. Truong Van Hung (Rector) and Ms. Tran Thanh Nhan (Vice Rector) shared strategic orientations aimed at guiding students in planning effective study pathways, identifying transfer opportunities to higher degree programs, and building sustainable career trajectories on a global scale.

The partnership between VLSC and Dayeh University marks a significant milestone in strengthening educational cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan. Beyond creating opportunities for overseas study, internships, and professional exchange, this collaboration serves as a solid foundation for empowering VLSC students to enhance their global competitiveness, achieve holistic development, and confidently engage in the international academic and professional arena.
