VIETNAM – KOREA CULTURE FESTIVAL 2025

On July 27th, the faculty and students of the Korean Language Department at Van Lang Saigon College (VLSC) participated in the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Culture Festival 2025. This was a major event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, in coordination with other organizations.

VLSC brought its students to experience Korean culture in the heart of Saigon, immersing them in a series of unique and exciting activities:

HANBOK BOOTH: Transform into historical characters by trying on traditional Korean costumes, and appreciate the elegant and refined beauty of East Asian culture through every fold of fabric, pattern, and color.

K-BEAUTY BOOTH: Enhance your beauty with cosmetic brands from Korea, and transform into a “muse” with K-beauty and Hanbok.

K-POP BOOTH: Catch the latest K-POP trends with a super-hot dance machine – a place where you don’t just dance, but shine like an idol on stage.

TRADITIONAL KOREAN GAMES BOOTH: Revisit your childhood with folk games like archery, jegichagi (shuttlecock kicking), and spinning tops (Bona) – where the cultural identity of the “Land of Kimchi” comes alive through fun and familiar movements.

K-CRAFT BOOTH: Showcase your artistic skills with hands-on Korean craft activities such as Calligraphy, Hanji (traditional paper art), etc. A very chill yet super engaging experience.

K-FOOD BOOTH: Immerse yourself in a “feast for the senses” with a variety of unique Korean dishes, from snacks, drinks, and ice cream to spicy rice cakes (Tteokbokki), fried chicken, Kimchi, and more.

K-CONTENTS BOOTH: Spark your inspiration with a world of creative content across various fields: tourism, cuisine, fashion, the beauty of the traditional Hangeul script, and copyright.

K-CULTURE BOOTH: Explore the colorful world of entertainment, from cinema and music to cartoon characters and creative settings. Every corner tells a vivid story of Korean culture, waiting for you to step in and experience it.
