The interior products created by students of the Interior Design program at Van Lang Saigon College (VLSC) in the Interior Equipment Design course have attracted attention for their meticulousness, creativity, and high practicality. Designs ranging from tables, chairs, cabinets, and shelves to decorative items are executed methodically by students, from creating moodboards and shaping forms to selecting materials, reflecting professional thinking and practical design skills.

Professional Experience in Every Detail

Through interior design projects, students are challenged with “real-world problems”: designing a complete set of interior equipment based on individual concepts that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The project workflow follows professional standards, from technical drawings to finished products, including:

Developing concepts and selecting design styles.
Creating 3D simulations of materials, colors, and lighting.
Preparing construction-ready technical drawings.
Rendering perspectives to finalize the products.
The outcome is a series of designs that are visually impressive and highly functional, while also serving as a valuable addition to students’ professional portfolios.
