Van Lang Saigon College (VLSC) was honored to welcome the delegation from the Department of Vocational and Continuing Education, under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, for an official visit to the College.
This visit marks a significant milestone, reflecting the Department’s profound attention and commitment to vocational education. It also serves as recognition of Van Lang Saigon College’s continuous efforts, developmental orientation, and humanistic educational vision—values that the College has steadfastly pursued on its journey toward nurturing competent and compassionate professionals.

Hung Kings Memorial Room – A Symbol of Gratitude and Vietnamese Identity
At the beginning of the visit, the delegation offered incense and toured the Hung Kings Memorial Room – a sacred space imbued with the Vietnamese spirit of “When drinking water, remember its source,” symbolizing gratitude and cultural heritage.

At the site, the delegates were introduced to the symbolic significance of the memorial, which embodies Van Lang Saigon College’s educational philosophy — the harmonious integration of national traditions with contemporary values. This philosophy aims to nurture students toward holistic development in ethics, knowledge, skills, and the qualities of global citizenship.

Not only a cultural landmark, the Hung Kings Memorial Room also serves as a spiritual symbol for all VLSC staff, lecturers, and students — a place that evokes national pride and fosters a sense of social responsibility.
Vietnamese Cultural Experience – Where Tradition Harmonizes with Modernity
Continuing the visit and working itinerary, the delegation was invited to participate in a Vietnamese cultural experience program held within the campus of Van Lang Sai Gon College. The cultural space was thoughtfully designed to recreate distinctive traditional elements interwoven with modern features, embodying the harmony between the past and the present – between national heritage and contemporary vitality.

This activity holds profound significance, not only deepening the delegation’s understanding of Vietnamese cultural identity but also embodying the educational philosophy of Van Lang Sai Gon College: education extends beyond the acquisition of professional knowledge; it is a journey of nurturing the soul, shaping character, and fostering a sense of national pride among students.
Here, tradition is not confined within the boundaries of nostalgia but is revitalized with new energy—becoming an integral part of the dynamic, humanistic, and creative academic environment at Van Lang Sai Gon College.
Campus Tour – An International-Standard Learning Environment
Following the cultural experience, the delegation continued their visit with a tour of the College’s modern facilities and international-standard learning spaces.

The delegates visited various facilities, including lecture rooms, practice laboratories, creative spaces, computer rooms, and simulated enterprise models — where students learn in a reality-based environment, with practical training accounting for 80–90% of the curriculum.

Through this visit, the delegation highly appreciated the “Learn by Doing” educational model and the College’s application-oriented training direction, which equip students with the practical skills and professional readiness to integrate into both domestic and international labor markets.
Working Session – Recognition of the College’s Efforts and Development Orientation
Concluding the campus tour, the delegation held a working session with the Board of Directors and heads of departments and faculties at Van Lang Saigon College.

The meeting was honored by the presence of:
Mr. Truong Anh Dung, Director of the Department of Vocational and Continuing Education.
Mr. Dao Trong Do, Head of Vocational Education Division, Department of Vocational and Continuing Education.

During the session, Mr. Truong Anh Dung commended the College’s above-standard investment and its commitment to a humanistic educational philosophy aligned with the principle of “Learning genuinely – Practicing genuinely – Living genuinely.”
He particularly acknowledged the College’s international-standard training environment, reasonable tuition policies, and diverse scholarship programs — initiatives that expand access to quality education for students while easing financial burdens for their families.

The delegation also expressed strong impressions of VLSC’s internationalization strategy and enterprise partnerships, which provide students with abundant opportunities for learning, internships, and employment even during their studies.
