In the context of increasingly deep international integration, hands-on experience in overseas working environments is not only a competitive advantage but also an essential preparation for students’ sustainable career development. With a training orientation closely aligned with real-world practice and industry needs, Van Lang Sai Gon College (VLSC) – recognized among the top colleges for training quality – has been steadily expanding international study and work opportunities, empowering students to confidently step onto the global stage.
The journey to Tochigi, Japan marks an important milestone in the personal and professional growth of VLSC students as they officially join a one-year internship program at Hanasenkyo Joint Stock Company, a hospitality service enterprise. Here, students work in a Japanese-standard environment that emphasizes discipline, responsibility, and professional work ethics.

Located in Kinugawa Onsen (Tochigi Prefecture), Hanasenkyo is a company deeply rooted in Japanese cultural values. Throughout the internship, VLSC students directly participate in the company’s actual operational processes, gradually strengthening their communication skills, problem-solving abilities, foreign language proficiency, and adaptability to multicultural working environments. These experiences form a solid foundation for students to confidently enter the international labor market after graduation.

VLSC EQUIPS STUDENTS WITH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, READY FOR GLOBAL INTEGRATION
This orientation is consistently reflected in the training strategy of Van Lang Sai Gon College, demonstrating the institution’s strong commitment to graduate quality and students’ career prospects.

The training programs are designed with a strong emphasis on practice, with more than 80% of the curriculum dedicated to hands-on learning and real-world experiences. The learning pathway is structured from foundational to advanced levels, focusing on communication competence and the application of language skills in academic settings, daily life, and professional working environments.
In addition to academic knowledge, students actively participate in internships, practicum programs, workshops, industry-focused talk shows, and international cultural exchange activities. These experiences broaden perspectives, enhance global competence, and strengthen adaptability in multinational working contexts.
VLSC implements personalized learning pathways tailored to each student’s abilities and career objectives, supported by a team of experienced lecturers who possess in-depth understanding of Japanese culture and working environments. Modern facilities and internationally standardized learning and practice spaces provide a solid foundation for comprehensive training.
Furthermore, students have opportunities to participate in study abroad programs and international semesters with unchanged tuition fees, expanding their prospects for studying and working in Japan as well as other developed countries.

The Language majors at VLSC aim not only to develop students’ language proficiency but also to cultivate an international mindset, professional work ethics, and adaptability in multicultural environments.
