Recently, students of the Korean Language Department at Van Lang Saigon College had the opportunity to participate in a field trip to the Korean Cultural Center in Ho Chi Minh City (ACEF) – a place considered a bridge between Korean culture and the international community in the city.
At ACEF, students not only experienced a standard Korean teaching environment but were also introduced to modern teaching methods, toured the cultural spaces, and, most importantly, participated in practical sharing sessions on:
- The levels of Korean language training, from beginner to advanced.
- Practical information on various types of visas for studying abroad, working, and cultural exchange.
- Scholarship opportunities and partnership programs with Korean universities.
- Teaching methods and hands-on cultural activities at the center.
The opportunity to interact, ask questions, and gain practical experience with ACEF’s team of seasoned lecturers and specialists helped the students acquire more specialized knowledge, improve their Korean language skills, and gain a clearer direction for their future.
Notably, the trip was also joined by international students currently studying at VLSC, which further highlighted the spirit of multicultural exchange, connecting with friends from all over the world, and affirming the college’s commitment to an internationalized education.
Let’s look back at the memorable moments from this field trip!
