- A Journey to BIDV – One of Vietnam’s Leading Banks
Recently, students from the Accounting and Finance–Banking program participated in an experiential learning trip to the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) – one of Vietnam’s “Big Four” banks and a pioneer in digital transformation and financial service innovation.
- Experiencing and Learning from a Professional Environment
The field trip offered students a meaningful day of applied learning, bridging academic theory with real-world professional practice. During the visit, students had the opportunity to engage in direct dialogue with BIDV’s Board of Directors, gaining valuable insights into the operations and strategic development of a national-scale financial institution.
In addition, participants learned from industry experts who are currently managing BIDV’s financial systems, while also exploring Smart Banking technology – a significant innovation representing the ongoing digital transformation within the modern banking sector.
- Authentic Learning – Practical Application – Real Experience
Beyond observation, students explored the bank’s organizational structure, interdepartmental coordination, and daily operations. They also benefited from the mentorship and experience shared by department leaders – professionals who not only possess deep expertise but are also dedicated to nurturing the next generation of banking professionals.
Through this activity, students of the Accounting and Finance–Banking program not only strengthened their professional knowledge but also gained clearer career orientation and identified the key competencies required for future success.
