Closing Ceremony of the Cultural Exchange Program & Awards Ceremony for the K-Dream 2025 Korean Speaking Contest

After a month of connection and companionship, the cultural exchange program between Van Lang Saigon College (VLSC) and Yeungnam University College (Korea) has officially concluded with an emotional and meaningful closing ceremony.

This journey was not just a series of learning, experiential, and networking activities, but also a journey to broaden worldviews, celebrate differences, and nurture the friendship between Vietnam and Korea.

Key Activities in the Program:

Cultural Exploration – Community Connection

• Ho Chi Minh City Tour: An experience to discover the distinctive historical, cultural, and urban life landmarks of Vietnam.
• Vietnamese Conical Hat Decorating Workshop: A place where local culture was shared through creativity and collaboration.
• Vietnamese – Korean Culinary Exchange: Connecting through flavors, where food became a bridge between the two cultures.

Student Exchange – Building Bonds

• Over 6 Coffee Talk sessions were held, creating a space for language and cultural exchange between Vietnamese and Korean students.
• Open conversations helped to bridge gaps, fostering natural understanding and connection.

Learning – Career Orientation

• Career orientation seminar conducted entirely in a foreign language, featuring insights from experts to broaden a global career mindset.
• Corporate internship program, offering practical experience and helping students engage with a professional, multicultural work environment.

K-Dream 2025 Korean Speaking Contest The contest identified the most outstanding individuals, a testament to the dedication to learning and passion for the Korean language and culture among Vietnamese and international students at VLSC.

List of Award-Winning Students:

• May Thu Cho: First Prize in the Advanced category
• Htet Myint Mo Lwin: Second Prize in the Elementary category
• Khin Ei Ei Kyaw: Third Prize in the Intermediate category

Although the exchange journey has ended, the memories, friendships, and valuable experiences will surely remain forever in the hearts of every participant.
